Husband Leaves Pregnant Wife for Influencer Until Parents Deliver Wedding Photo Gift

“Is the package in Traverse City yet?” Tilly asked.

I pulled the long post office receipt from my coat pocket and tapped the tracking number into my phone.

The screen glowed in the dim kitchen light, showing the progress of the little brown box.

“It arrived at the sorting facility at seven-fifteen,” I said. “It’s out for delivery to the resort at dawn.”

Tilly nodded once, a cold, satisfied look settling over her pale face.

She sat down in the rocking chair by the small electric heater, her hands resting flat on her knees.

“He wanted a public life,” Tilly said, her voice dropping into the quiet of the room. “He is going to get one.”

I placed the white receipt back on the counter, weighting it down with the silver salt shaker.

The faint black ink on the thermal paper showed our future was already in motion.

The delivery destination stared back at me in the dim light.

Traverse City, Michigan, forty-nine-six-eight-four.

The link went live on Margot’s phone at ten minutes to two.
