She handed the long, curling white receipt to Tilly.
“This has the tracking number on it,” Martha said. “You can watch the delivery status in real-time.”
Tilly took the receipt and handed it to me.
“Keep this in your pocket, Savannah,” Tilly said as we walked out into the biting November wind. “We will want to know the exact minute he signs away his inheritance.”
“Do you think he will call Norman when he reads it?” I asked.
“He can call all he wants,” Tilly said. “Norman changed his number this morning.”
