“Though I must say, your hair looks remarkably uniform tonight,” she added, her eyes lingering on the edge of my silver wig.

“It almost looks like a painting,” she added.

“Lucia is an exceptionally talented stylist,” I said, keeping my voice even.

“She understands the importance of structure,” I added, picking up my linen napkin.

“It is certainly a very structured look,” Victoria said, taking a small sip of her water.
